As an independent service provider, Ventos offers cost effective wind power services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), wind developers and independent power producers. Ventos accomplishes this in the following ways:
- Supports wind operations & maintenance (O&M) activities in remote wind farm locations with its highly mobile, state-wide workforce of technical and craft labor.
- Provides a variety of cranes to service its client’s needs.
- Responds to emergency client needs, while assuring work is completed safely.

As a member of the Postel Group, the Company enjoys access to resources such as capital, equipment and management that many competitors lack. The company controls a 550 TON crane through its sister company Maverick Crane & Rigging and several more cranes through another related company, Polk County Equipment. Ventos also has access to the latest technology for project management and a highly skilled and certified technical staff. In addition to in-house engineering capabilities and production facilities, Ventos has access to HR resources though the PEO company Innerstaff LLC, giving Ventos the capacity to staff up quickly if needed. In addition to these companies, Ventos has access to capital, management, resources and equipment not necessarily directly owned or controlled by the Company.

Mike Postel, CEO
Mike Postel is the CEO of Ventos Power Plus, LLC. Mike is also the principal of Postel Group. Mr. Postel is a successful businessman, having owned and operated a major steel fabrication and erection contracting company for over 30 years and a number of related equipment and real estate investment businesses. He is familiar with the construction industry and brings an understanding of the banking needs of small businesses. Mr. Postel served as a Director of Main Street Bank from July 1999 to October 2004 and then with the MINT National Bank from 2009 to present.
Al Wells, Vice President
Al Wells is a Vice President in Operations for Ventos Power Plus, LLC. Mr. Wells has over 20 years in the construction industry, most recently serving as the CEO of a construction company handling utilities, site work, concrete, steel fabrication and erection, and interior finish-out. He has a consistent record of completing assignments in many cases under extremely stressful circumstances (disasters/catastrophes). Mr. Wells currently resides in Dripping Springs, TX.
Jonathan Heck, Vice President
Jonathan Heck is a Vice President in Operations for Ventos Power Plus, LLC. Mr. Heck has over 14 years of experience in the crane and rigging industry. His responsibilities with Ventos Power Plus include management, scheduling, procurement, as well as all the additional details of the daily operation.
Danny Lucas, Vice President
Danny Lucas is a Vice President in Administration for Ventos Power Plus, LLC. Mr. Lucas is a successful Executive Operations Director and corporate officer with experience in managing multiple levels of operations in the following industries: Steel Fabrication and Erection, General Construction, Facilities Maintenance/Property Management and Manufacturing. Extensive experience managing administrative staff, workforce and multiple projects including but not limited to: contract negotiation, insurance, licensing, estimating, budgeting, analysis, administration, capital projects and manufacturing of product. Extensive contract analysis, review and preparation in the industries listed above. Additionally he has experience with managing large capital projects for industrial, commercial and retail properties which included all phases of construction and improvements.
Roy Carter, Safety
Roy Carter has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, coal, nuclear industry, and wind turbine’s. He was promoted to safety tech after attaining his Associates Degree. He worked in the Houston, Baytown area until he gained experience to be put into a leadership role with his own projects. He was moved to Regional Safety Manager for one of the largest industrial construction companies in the world. He has established his self as one of the top Safety Managers with companies, achieving 2 (one) million man hour projects without an OSHA Recordable Incident. He has CSHS, (OSHA, Certified Safety and Health Specialist), OSHA, Outreach Train the Trainer, MSHA, (Mine Safety and Health Association) Instructor/Trainer, and OSHA /Trenching and Pipe line Certifier Certificate. He has an Associates Degree in Construction Safety and Law.
Travis Vollmer is an experienced wind turbine technician with over 11 years of supervisory experience. Mr. Vollmer most recently worked as a project manager, showing ability to manage a team to complete all activities on time within budget. He has his Wind Technician Certification and is a California Wind Tech. He currently resides in Riviera, TX.
