Wind Turbine Technician Immediate Openings (Nordex Experience Required)
Job description:
Ventos Power Plus is hiring Experienced Traveling Technicians for Nordex AW3000 and N155 to maintenance, troubleshoot, LOTO. This role involves resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, as well as inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing wind turbines. Troubleshooting experience is preferred. Technicians will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and work areas. Note: Only applicants with relevant experience will be considered. If you do not have the required experience, your application will not be reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and Ventos Managers.
- Report completed tasks and inform teams of safety or quality issues when needed.
This role requires 100% travel across the U.S., with travel periods of 6 weeks at a time. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Per Diem is provided for food and lodging. Pay is based on experience and certification.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a pre-hire background check and drug screening.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical.
- Must meet the physical requirements, including weight restrictions of 270 pounds or less.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb vertical ladders, and work at heights of 300 feet or more.
- Ability to climb multiple wind turbines daily.
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather.
- Strong attitude, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
